What you can expect:
The candidate will under the guidance of the Supervisor assist in maintaining a structured work environment that benefits our employees and shows our guests our passion for outstanding service. You will act as a liaison between the supervisor and other staff, ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed, while also suggesting ideas for streamlining processes.

  • Maintain adherence to company policy and procedures. Including Z98, OHS, etc.
  • Inspect work areas for unsafe conditions, missing amenities and cleanliness.
  • Provide training and support, while encouraging a competent and safe work force.
  • Assisting in the creation and maintaining effective schedules to meet daily requirements and business needs and altering staffing levels accordingly.
  • Assisting in departmental administrative tasks, including regulatory reporting, incident reporting, training documentation and payroll.
  • Assist in conducting performance appraisals, providing feedback to ensure a stimulating and successful environment
  • Operation of gondola when required. Includes guest service, assisting guests by answering questions, direct guests on to the lift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Effectively handle public relation matters
  • Actively or positively attend and participate in meetings and training to gain knowledge and relay relevant information
And you have:
  • Proven passion for providing outstanding guest service
  • Able to maintain effective communications and relationships within department and with others
  • Able and prepared to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Knowledge of proper use of basic hand tools
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Operations experience or ropeway experience
  • Neat, alert, dependable and punctual
  • Experience with Microsoft products (word, excel, outlook, etc.)
  • Able to lift 23kg regularly
  • Valid Canadian (or equivalent) drivers license
