Warehouse Supervisor

• Assist the manager in supporting the automated and manual warehouse teams to execute best practices in warehouse management relating to receiving, put away, restocking, order picking and employee performance measurement
• Oversee the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments and ensure the warehouse operation adheres to company guidelines
• Respond effectively to any safety or operational issues and keep the management informed of any significant problems
• Ensure accurate receiving of incoming products and order picking
• Allocate duties to warehouse workers on the shift
• Act as a bridge between the manager and workers to carry out warehouse operations effectively
• Communicate with other departments to ensure the service quality and requirements are met
• Support the recruitment process and training of new workers
• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned by the warehouse manager

Job Requirement

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in logistics/supply chain, business or related field is an asset
• At least 2-3 years of shipping, logistics or supply chain experience is preferred; Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Warehouse Supervisor
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and MS Excel
• Hands-on knowledge with Warehouse Management System (WMS) (especially SAP’s Produmex WMS) is a strong advantage
• Proven ability to delegate and execute job tasks to warehouse team in a timely manner
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
• Good command of written and spoken English, with additional language e.g., Cantonese or Mandarin will be an asset
• Immediate availability is preferred
