Olde Yorke Fish and Chips is an English Style pub that is family owned and operated. We are expanding our team and looking for a new Take out and Customer Service Specialist to join us!

Hours: We operate Monday to Saturday 11:00-9:00 (Sunday and all STAT holidays are off)

We are looking to fill one part time position

2-3 daytime shifts (Wed-Friday 10:50-4) plus 2-3 evenings

What will you be doing?

-Preparing take out area for opening
-Greeting customers
-Taking food and drink orders (in person and on the phone)
-Operating cash registers and receiving payment from customers in cash or by credit/Debit card
-Maintaining Take out and packing areas
-Prepping condiments
-Replenishing stock
-Packing orders in appropriate bags and containers
-Giving orders to customers
-Light cleaning duties
-Answering the phone
-Providing information about the establishment
-Menu Knowledge
-Communicating with kitchen staff and servers when necessary

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Toronto, ON M4G 3V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Smart Serve (preferred)
