We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Human Resources Co-Op Studentto join our small, dynamic and fun HR team at our Richmond BC office, supporting our Geointelligence business area. This is a 4 -8 month term starting in May 2023.

About Geointelligence: Our mission is to turn data into insight. From detecting changes in fragile ecosystems to monitoring northern ice floes and shipping routes, our near-real time data of Earth observation and the environment makes our Geointelligence team a leader in geospatial imagery, ground stations, enterprise geospatial systems and defence programs.

As our HR Co-op, you will

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating exit interviews
• Maintain HR databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Experience with HRIS systems is a plus

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the enhanced reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
