Summary

We develop and deploy software which operates at vast scale, and interacts with some of our most important services, including iCloud. Our team focuses on creating and maintaining services which are reliable, scalable, fast, and secure. Key Qualifications

5+ years of industry experience

Working experience with Rust and/or C

Low-level networking experience

Demonstrated skill and expertise with Unix-type operating systems

Skilled in clear communication

Description

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a passion for performance, networking and security. Be part of a small, highly skilled team building network services and products at Apple.

The performance and security of the systems we build are critical. We typically interface directly to low-level Linux kernel interfaces, using asynchronous I/O and threads to distribute workload. We primarily leverage low level systems languages to achieve our goals, with most of our codebase being written in Rust. Experience with other systems languages such as C, C++, Go, Java can also be valuable, as would familiarity with Unix-type operating systems and concepts.

Education & Experience

BS in computer science or equivalent experience
