Flow Home Cleaning is a female-owned small business based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. We make the ordinary business of housecleaning, extraordinary. Flow supports 20 dedicated employees and we pride ourselves on being an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment. We employ interesting and diverse people.

Flow is a fast-growing company using technology and software to help us deploy cleaning services to hundreds of clients in the Fredericton area. We also clean at no charge for households with a family member undergoing cancer treatments through our “Cleaning for a Reason” program.

Flow’s office is located in a non-profit building in “the old YMCA” in downtown Fredericton.

The Opportunity

Flow is seeking a highly-organized, creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a new role – Marketing and Social Media Manager

The Marketing and Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of Flow Home Cleaning’s marketing and public communication efforts. The Marketing and Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing the Flow brand, including our “Why?” and our story. The Manager will develop, schedule, and measure marketing strategies through all streams, from online social media to print advertising.

The Marketing and Social Media Manager will increase top-of-mind awareness of Flow Home Cleaning within Fredericton with the final end result being an increase in the number of happy Flow clients who are our fans/ambassadors.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for a respectful, inclusive, employee-centred, growing and thus constantly changing small business.

Responsibilities:

Strategize and continue to build an annual marketing calendar

Lead and manage marketing activities to increase leads and sales

Management of marketing budget across all platforms

Create digital and print assets to communicate Flow’s brand, story, and values to clients and employees

Lead and manage all public relation activities including online and social media, print advertising, networking including the development of community and charity partnerships.

Presenting ROI data on all campaigns to Management in an organized and simple fashion

Develop and implement strategies so clients and staff become fans and brand ambassadors

Plan and lead the execution of events such as trade shows

Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts. Eg. free cleanings for Fredericton influencers such as prominent realtors

Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews

Online SM management including:

Pages setup

Page optimization

Content creation

Promotional photos

Post scheduling

Video creation & editing

Online ads budgeting and setup

Daily content posting

Design, systematize, and schedule door knocker and poster campaigns

Schedule and manage regular email campaigns to clients

Media attention, PR, news articles, creating buzz

Technical Skills & Competencies

Ability to take the reins in mapping out a comprehensive marketing plan and calendar that can be used going forward

Results-oriented, implement ROI measuring system

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in all formats; written, presentation, email, written and verbal

Strong sense of urgency when working; enjoyment in seeing a business grow and move forward

Self-driven with superior time and task management skills

Team player with a positive attitude and recognized collaborative skills

Able to work effectively with minimal supervision to proactively take initiative, strategize and implement.Graphic design skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite
