Site Supervisor: Vernon Mon - Fri (Must have 1 -2 years experience in security).Please carefully read the ’Must Haves and Responsibilites’ before applying to ensure this position is a good fit for you.

Your Must Haves …

• Valid BC Security License
• 1 -2 years experience in security. Previous supervisory experience would be an asset.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• NVCI and De-escalation certificates or willing to obtain.
• OFA 1 or willing to obtain.
• Excellent English, oral and written skills
• Experience in supporting and working with a diverse group of people. Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with the residents and staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft office and Tracktik.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Interior and exterior patrols of residential buildings in all weather conditions.
• Access Control, ensuring the safety of residents and staff.
• Flexibility and availability to work at both locations when required.
• Supervision of 6 or more staff, submitting the timesheets and work with scheduling to ensure shifts are filled.
• Investigating incidents promptly and accurately. Submitting incident reports in a timely manner to the Client Services Manager and the client.
• Complete Staff evaluations/Employee reviews .
• Assist with training of Commissionaires.
• Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress.
• Ensure the all staff maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
• Responding to emergencies situations and be able to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
