Shipping and Receiving Administator

Responsible for preparation of all shipping and receiving documentation and ensure proper paper flow between departments.

Essential Functions

· Coordinating the flow of all trucks in the yard

· Be the point of contact for all drivers

· Updating booked appointment tracker (including fielding all phone calls)

· Monitoring and tracking the performance of freight companies i.e. late for appointments etc.

· Working with customer service to ensure the requested dates on orders are up to date

· Ensuring the booked appintments are in sync with the dates on the orders

· Processing all receiving paperwork

· Prepping labels for skids(putting them on skids as time allows)

· Receiving into Fesh ERP, BV and SAP as needed

· Ensuring paperwork is taken to Accounts Payable timely

· Troubleshooting any shipping variances with customer service

· Investigating all claims of shipping variances

· Prepping paperwork for all orders to be shipped

· Finalizing all shipping documents, including custom documents

Health and Safety

· Conduct all Job Tasks in a Safe and Responsible manner.

· Participate in all Health and Safety, GMP and HACCP training as required.

· Report any accidents, incidents and unsafe/hazardous conditions to your supervisor.

· Report any damages of property and machinery to your supervisor.

• Ensure that you understand how and when to use the Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) that is located in your work area.
• Ensure you comply with OHSA, WSIB, MOL regulations and/or laws that govern “workers” responsibilities in the workplace and Comply with Tradition Fine Foods Ltd. Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP Programs

Job Specifications
· College or University Education in Supply Chain

· Minimum 1-year work experience in shipping and receiving

· Exhibits good communication skills and is able to work as part of a team.

· Has an eye for detail and a scientific approach to problem solving.

· Computer competent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
