We are looking for a District Service Operations Manager who will have full accountability and responsibility for the implementation of service business operations within the District and driving an outside-in customer service mindset to meet our customers’ needs. This includes the indirect supervision of all related maintenance and repair activity, as well as accomplishing goals for safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions :

- Adhere to KONE Safety policy.

- Actively promote KONE 24/7 Connected Services and our digitalization progress throughout District.

- Responsible for driving the profitability and productivity of District service operations through supporting the Branches with set plans.

- Utilizes available reporting systems such as SAP Result Report, callout and sick lift reports and weekly hours reports to analyze and control resources.

- Responsible for driving accountability in meeting contract requirements on all maintenance accounts and ensuring delivered quality and customer satisfaction through proper follow-up and scheduling .

- Responsible for supporting the General Managers, Service & solutions and driving accountability for implementing and enforcing company policy, procedures, rules, programs and initiatives pertaining directly and/or indirectly to the service department.

- Efficiently plan, direct, and coordinate activities of district service operations to ensure that goals or objectives of service operations are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters .

- Responsible for development, implementation and attainment of an annual District business plan, operating budget and efficiency budget utilizing KONE business processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Accountable to driving strict adherence to safety policy, training and initiatives.

- Manage Corporate Compliance, proper business practices and code of conduct.

- Responsible for compliance to obligations of contractual requirements with customers.

Experience :

- 5 + years progressive supervision and management experience (including managing people, budgets, planning etc.).

- Familiarity with electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems as applied in industry transportation and/or conveyance systems.

- Experience or ability to learn PC database, spreadsheet, scheduling, project management, communication and word processing applications.

- Automobile drivers license and frequent day travel required within branch office geographic area.

Education :

- Bachelor’s degree ;

- 7 + years of experience in related industry considered in lieu of degree.

Skills, Knowledge and Specific Behaviors :

- Solid working knowledge of elevator and escalator service operations practices and techniques.

- Solid working knowledge of service industry standard practices and process.

- Sound working knowledge of property management and construction industry.

- Laws and regulations regarding safety and environmental governmental regulations. Sound understanding of IUEC agreement and labor relations

- Ability to motivate people to attain their maximum potential by develop ing and foster ing teamwork.

- Effective oral, written , persuasive and presentation skills.

- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form.

- Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks through effective organization and time management.
