About The Role

Your mission :
  • Collaborate with the analytics team and the other IT and operational sectors to analyze, develop, test, and deploy solutions to maintain or integrate new business areas into our SAS data warehouse.
  • Advise and participate in the improvement and evolution of the team’s processes and tools.
  • Help design and develop solutions to problems or requests related to consumption or optimization of operational and sales data and/or indicators.
  • Document implementation steps and produce quality evidence. Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Provide technical support to the team’s BI and actuarial analysts throughout our development lifecycle and support the production of underwriting performance tracking metrics.
Qualifications

You are:
  • A SAS developer with a passion for data integration and transformation.
  • A committed and open-minded team player.
  • Versatile, adaptable and autonomous.
  • A quick learner who is curious about new technologies.
  • Comfortable working in complex environments and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Available for production support.
  • Bilingual, verbally and in writing.
What You Have
  • Strong experience in SAS programming (3+ years of experience).
  • Knowledge of other BI languages or tools will be an asset (e.g.: VBA, SQL, Powershell, VB, Dax/MDX …).
  • Knowledge of property insurance data domains will be an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a virtual team and with a large number of business partners.
  • Bilingualism is a strong asset; professional-level English language fluency is required.
