Senior Income Property Accountant

Mosaic is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Income Property Accountant to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle of a portfolio of commercial and residential income properties. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will work closely with our Property Managers and leasing team to ensure that all financial and non-financial information is accurately tracked in our property management system. You will attend monthly meetings to update owners on property performance. Your responsibilities will be to reconcile accounts, update working papers, and manage lease-up budgets for newly acquired income properties.

Who You Are

You have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar full cycle role in property accounting. You may be a designated CPA. You have great proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

You take ownership of your work and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You have experience preparing annual CAM and tax recovery reconciliations and billings, as well as preparing annual property budgets.

You care about your work and have a genuine passion for real estate. You are customer oriented and manage commitments well to ensure work gets done in a timely and complete manner. You have a strong drive for accuracy and flawless execution.

Finally, you are a team player who builds relationships and brings out the best in others.
