We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to guide the transformation to DevOps and Continuous Delivery across our organization. You would help to create and build our Infrastructure-as-Code to enhance our CI/CD pipelines as well as integrate security gates and automated testing into our processes. We will work together to develop best practices for implementing deployment and continuous integration tools — while maintaining and monitoring production environments and costs.

Responsibilities:

• You will work directly with development teams to bring new and existing products into the cloud

• Design, implement and maintain all infrastructure and operational services

• Create processes to perform continuous deployment, including full orchestration of deployment process

• Develop tools and scripts to improve efficiency of operational tasks

• Create and provide best practices to the organization for DevOps, builds, CI/CD, and infrastructure

• Implement monitoring processes and design/deploy monitoring dashboards and alerts

• Build and support system automation, deployment, and continuous integration tools

• Thoroughly demonstrate working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology (processes, and deliverables)

• Help to maintain and monitor production environments

• Help to design and support internal development environments inside both AWS and Azure

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years working with AWS

• 3-5 years working in Linux environments

• 1-5 years scripting languages with at Bash or Python

• 3-5 years using SCM, Git, GitHub

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience branching and merging

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Github Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, and or GitLab

• Knowledge of Cloud best practices, operations and security

• Experience administering Databases such as Postgres, MariaDb, Mongo, MySQL, and or MSSQL

• Experience with performance tuning and benchmarking

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Experience using AWS services and CLI

• Bash and or Python scripting skills

• Log aggregation using SumoLogic or other tools

• Experience working with Container Infrastructure, ECS, Kubernetes, Docker

• Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, TeamCity, Artifactory. DockerHub, Github

• Nginx experience

• Experience with Agile methodology

• MongoDB and cluster configurations

• Messaging technologies / protocols such as MQTT, IoT, Kafka, RabbitMQ

• Effectively communicate project status, metrics, and issues

• Support both development and production environments

• Coaching, mentoring of team members

• Lead multiple development projects
