Our proven capabilities yield the ultimate peace of mind to those that we serve.Role Summary:Our Chubb Atlantic region is currently looking for an experienced Security Technician ideally based in Fredericton/Saint John area to perform Installation and Service functions on intrusion alarm, access control, and camera systems.Responsibility:

• Installation and programming of alarm panels, CCTV systems, and Card Access systems.
• Troubleshoot existing alarm panels, CCTV systems, and Card Access systems to provide service support to customers.
• The Technician will be responsible for Surveying sites prior to installation and following all EHS regulations.
• Testing and commissioning of systems to the Operations center
• Training of the end-user
• Inspection of existing systems and submission of reports.
• Participation in the on-call rotation schedule and being able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to travel within the geographical area with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications:

• Experience with electronics and wiring is required.
• 2+ years of experience with the installation of commercial alarm systems.
• Post-secondary education concentrated on technical electronics and networking will be valued.
• Experience and technical knowledge of security products and standards/codes are desirable.
• Good computer and IT network skills are required.
• IT support/helpdesk experience will be valued.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
