Security Guard

The Security Guard at Northview is responsible for patrolling assigned areas to monitor activities and implement security measures to protect property against theft, vandalism and fire.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the interior and exterior of the premises at regular intervals
• Ensure doors & windows are secure
• Ensure common areas and exterior lighting is in good working condition
• Perform light cleaning duties
• Respond to emergency situations
• Investigate disturbances and report violations
• Monitor and authorize entrance of tenants and visitors
• Maintain general security of the property
• Other duties as assigned by property manager

Qualifications:

• Able to work independently
• Experienced in conflict resolution
• Good customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor
• Able to communicate well with the public and liaise with the RCMP
• An assertive personality
• Clear criminal record check
• Able to work a variety of shifts including overnight
