Deloitte’s Cyber Intelligence Centre is growing! Our Cyber Intelligence Practice is currently seeking a Level 1 Analyst who is self-motivated, energetic, driven for success and results-oriented. Read more below.

What will your typical day look like?

Be at the forefront of one of the most fast-paced and influential industries in the world. Knowledge of security monitoring, security operations processes and common industry technologies are critical to the successful delivery and execution of managed security services offered by Deloitte. Day to day, you will log and collect evidence of incident and threat detection, monitor and report based on client SLAs with an emphasis on quality and accuracy. You will review security-related events, assessing risk and validity, and reporting of findings; you will work on 10 hour shifts on a rotating schedule to cover 24/7 operation. Occasional onsite client work may be required.

About The Team

Join our team in execution of security operations for our Cyber Security clients. Deloitte’s cyber risk practice helps clients remain vigilant and helps to defend them against emerging threats and cyber-attacks with intelligent, secure and resilient solutions. Our Cyber Intelligence Centre is a 24/7 managed security service monitoring and responding to cyber threats, helping organizations to protect their networks, systems, applications, information and reputation in real-time. Analysts will be key players in a world-class security operations center that is aligned with our strategic direction and that helps the firm better deliver on new and existing engagements.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in a relevant area of study with a preference for Computer Science, Information Security or Computer Engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of: Experience with MITRE attack framework, Server platforms (Linux, UNIX, Windows, etc.), Relevant networking experience (e.g. TCP/IP stack, DNS)
  • Direct prior experience with core security technologies such as security information and event monitoring systems (SIEM), network and host intrusion prevention and detection systems, and anti-virus solutions
  • Experience in SOAR
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Strong understanding of lateral movement
  • Has previously had or is willing to obtain government Secret security clearance
