Harris Affinity Decision Support (ADS) combines financial, clinical and patient activity information to help healthcare administrators understand patient costs and reimbursement. This is hybrid project manager / scrum master role requires a strong blend of project management skills, superior communication skills, and a strong understanding of the agile/scrum process. Using the established agile (scrum) project management methodologies, the Project Manager will support multiple R&D scrum teams to plan, execute and deliver projects on schedule and on budget while meeting scope requirements. The Project Manager is also responsible for leading product delivery events and providing associated delivery and team reports.

The position is remote. You can work from anywhere in North America and you will work with a diverse team located throughout North America and off-shored globally.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule product releases taking all dependencies, project priorities and resource constraints into account
• Lead sprint planning meeting and prepare scrum teams’ upcoming sprints
• Lead daily scrum of assigned teams and unblock issues.
• Lead multiple R&D scrum teams as scrum master ensuring the success factors of each project are met: Delivery Date, SDLC compliance, change control, issue and risk escalation and client satisfaction.
• Lead and document retrospective meetings and review sprints with team members.
• Interact daily with product owners, and other engineers on assigned teams and other teams to understand current priorities and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with remote and offshore employees
• Lead and involved in all scrum process events as a scrum master.
• Participate in grooming meetings and ensure stories/bugs are properly groomed and backlog is properly prepared.
• Provide sprint reports and documentation for assigned teams for R&D management team.
• Support resource allocation planning for product feature deliveries.
  

Required Experience

• 3+ years managing software implementation projects.
• Current PMP and or Price2 Certification is an asset.
• Current ScrumMaster or ACP is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an associated discipline.
• Possess strong cross-group negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and conflict management skills.
• Possess a deep understanding of all activities associated with software system implementations.
• Possess superior presentation, organization, and planning capabilities.
• Possess the ability to discuss challenges and provide status updates to a leadership team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with Aha! and JIRA is an asset
• Four-year degree in computer science, engineering, business or related discipline.
