Scaffolder Journeyperson

Woodland Constructors ( A Graham Company) is seeking Scaffolders to join our NOVA project in Red Deer, Alberta. This is a temporary, full-time position for scaffolders local to Red Deer only.

Scaffolders provide safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety. They assemble, dismantle and modify system, tube and clamp scaffolds.

Responsibilities:

• Practice safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety
• Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met
• Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
• Safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
• Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
• Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset
• Supporting colleagues and participating in skills transfer
• Prioritizing daily work load with managing materials efficiently

Minimum Requirements:

• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-2020)
• ESC Fall Protection
• Proof of hours (6400 hours or more) upon request

Preferred Requirements:

• Scaffold Certificate affiliation is preferred
• Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities.
