Job Description :

The telecommunications market is undergoing a transformation and Cogeco is forging ahead with our plan to enter the Canadian mobile services market. We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to help develop our wireless roadmap, manage our Salesforce stack based Business Support System, and join a team made of creative innovators and visionaries in start-up mode.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume administrative and operational functions related to SalesForce tools such as ExperienceCloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Communications Cloud.

  • Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products, oversee proper implementation and optimization effectively, in a scalable way, respecting set requirements.

  • Working with the team to define system requirements and customize the platform.

  • Assist in defining workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment.

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and experience in creating and maintaining Salesforce user profiles, objects, and fields; utilizing Process Builder, Workflows, and other automation processes; and with a deep understanding of Reports and Dashboards.

  • Provide support and coordinate with the team to find innovative solutions, for Salesforce and beyond.

  • Complete rigorous QA checks on every change made within the Salesforce Org.

  • Collaborate with and train other team members.

  • Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes.

  • Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, permissions, workflows, sharing rules, and groups.

  • Manage and administer SSO, MFA, and other security related efforts

  • Planning for SFDC Releases and communicating system changes to the users in advance so they understand the changes and how to use it prior to implementation

  • Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with SFDC.

  • Assist in defining / creating reports and dashboards as required.

  • Manage less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer or SI/Consultant/Partner

  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow, and reporting.

Academic:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of education and experience.

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

  • Certified Salesforce Admin.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Core, CDP.

  • Ability to explain integration concepts such as APIs, OAuth and SAML.

  • Experience configuring and optimizing CPQ software. ideally SFDC Communications Cloud (Vlocity) EPC/CPQ and or MSM).

  • Experience with declarative development in SFDC (eg. workflow rules, Process Builders, Lightning Flow).

  • Experience with developing and optimizing Omniscripts, Flexcards, Flows, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures .

  • Knowledge of Apex scripting.

  • Strong attention to detail is critical for this position, and you should be able to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with a team.

  • Critical and analytical mindset when it comes to solutions design and implementation.

  • Interested in understanding the strategic goal and wanting to make a significant contribution to the business objectives.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience developing solutions in Apex.

  • Ability to write and implement new, relatively simple Apex code, as well as understand and revise existing code.

  • Bilingual: English and French is an asset but not required.
