Residential Property Accountant

Downtown Vancouver real estate company is looking for a permanent full-time Residential Property Accountant to join the team.

Salary up to $85K + bonus and benefits

Primary Duties:

o Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, supporting working papers and all ongoing activities (receipts, disbursements) for a portfolio of residential rental buildings
o Manage cash flow requirements, projecting monthly cash balances, receipts and disbursements
o Assist property managers in preparation of annual budgets
o Provide monthly budget to actual variance analysis
o Administrative duties including photocopying, filing, preparing, organizing and maintaining accounting/contract records

Requirements:

• Experience in real estate property management accounting, primarily in residential rental, exposure to commercial/retail property management accounting
• CPA designation or near-designated
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to adapt to multiple demands
• Experience using Yardi Voyager accounting system
