Job Description

The Customer Support Reps maintain excellent customer service relationships with our customers, sales force and internal departments. The role is responsible to act as the voice for the customers to determine how Olympus can best satisfy their needs.

Job Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with all levels of customers in Canada to assist with their requests for Olympus products.
  • Provide professional phone and email support in both English and French to our customers and outside Sales Reps.
  • Process transactions including sales orders with a very high accuracy rate.
  • Show an understanding of the complete order process.
  • Provide back up support for US based customers as needed
  • Provide updated information to sales reps and customers regarding their orders (Delivery Dates, etc.)
  • Able to create RMA’s with assistance on how to determine disposition.
  • Work with internal departments such as Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance and Shipping to ensure timely delivery for customer orders and information related to their requests.
  • Work on process improvements to provide better service to our customers and streamline our workflow.
  • Work on special projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or other discipline or equivalent preferred
  • Must be fluent in speaking/writing English and French
  • Customer service experience required.
  • 1+ years in a business environment.
  • Superior customer service and phone skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Applications.
  • Computer knowledge with databases.
  • Typing 45+ WPM.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Superior Data entry and accuracy skills.
  • Positive outlook with the ability to promote teamwork and good working relations
