Position Summary

If medical nursing is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated registered nurse, we have an exciting permanent part time (0.75 FTE) opportunity now available at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital unit 2 E/W.

What will you work on?

As a Registered Nurse you will work in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care.

The RN schedule is based on 12 hour shifts and schedules are Days (07:00 to 19:00 hours) and Nights (19:00 to 07:00 hours) with rotating days off.

About this location/unit

This 32-bed medical unit offers a dynamic program focussing on the needs of complex medical clients admitted with a variety of diagnoses.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Previous acute medical experience would be considered an asset.
