Job Title:Broker/Recruiter

Location:Edmonton

Hours:Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM and flexible as required

Compensation: $80,000 - 100,000 per year plus recruitment bonus and residual yearly income

Position Summary

The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen eye to detect potential in up-and-coming realtors. This Broker/Recruiter thrives on making relationships with experienced realtors while leading, coaching and developing best practices in their business.

This individual will be highly motivated, with above-average interpersonal skills, and an enthusiastic self-starter with outstanding attraction, retention, and coaching skills. Must be a team player and highly collaborative; someone who can build and nurture relationships while providing Realtor support. The right candidate will be a great communicator and relationship builder, very personable with a ready smile and a positive, can-do attitude. Having a background in real estate is imperative, as you will be dealing with listing agreements, offers, and issues relating to transactions and compliance.

Primary Roles includeAgent Attraction Recruiting, growing the offices with new talent, coaching and developing those agents and building the office.

Reports to: Executive Leadership Team

Position responsibilities include the following duties.

  • Finding New Realtors for the brokerage that will be a good fit. Experienced and New Realtors
  • Responsible for hiring and management of new salespeople who fit the culture and meet the hiring standards of the brokerage.
  • Provide ongoing basic training, mentoring and support to salespeople to assist with productivity and maintenance of the brokerage’s sales targets.
  • Creating Follow-up plans and lead generation for the brokerage
  • Host recruiting Events and create social media content that can attract new talent with the help of the Management team
  • Provide guidance to resolve problems and complications that arise during the real estate sales process.
  • Assist and advise Realtors with all real estate transactions as needed.
  • Respond to inbound queries in a timely fashion and facilitate an overall smooth customer service experience for Realtors and Clients.
  • Assist with conflict resolution with clients or Realtors and handle the issues in a professional and positive manner.
  • Attend important networking or industry events as needed, representing our office in a professional manner. Working with other Managers and Employees
  • One on One meetings with prospective hires and presentations

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2years of real estate experience.
  • Must have very strong leadership skills while also being able to listen to and absorb direction.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have superb problem-solving/conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills in person, over the phone and via electronic communication.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic social media, the MLS system, and other software systems as needed.
  • Self-confident with an outgoing personality.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Valid Alberta Broker License
  • Managing websites and social media platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
