Are you our next Quality Assurance Specialist?

This position will facilitate Mosaic quality assurance initiatives, assist with customer quality solutions, support quality opportunities and mitigation, report quality finding, manage quality cases and maintain critical contact with Mosaic customers, commercial, supply chain, operations and third-party partners. The role will apply quality assurance methods and best practice processes, understand audit compliance requirements, have good problem-solving abilities and will interact with operations, customers and third-party vendors.

This position is located at Regina, Canada. Mosaic’s Human Resources office is located on the 17th floor of Hill Center III and serves as the headquarters for our Potash business unit. This location houses a variety of functions, including accounting, administrative, customer service, engineering, public affairs, procurement and human resources.

What will you contribute?
  • Liaise with Quality Services team members for the identification and mitigation of quality risks at shipment, storage, handling and transportation of Mosaic produced tons of fertilizer products into the marketplace.
  • Quality Case Management: Facilitate quality case management from investigation to customer resolution. This could include potential root cause analysis, determinations on most cost-effective risk mitigation, travel to customer location and identification of action items to prevent duplication.
  • Execute Mosaic Quality Assurance initiatives and strategies to reduce risk and minimize negative customer experiences
  • Monitor and compile quality assurance data and the communication of quality reports, metrics and trends.
  • Provide technical information, problem solving and facilitation of quality protocols to address customer inquiries.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years related or minimum 2yr Scientific/ Technical diploma from a recognized institution with 5 years of same related experience in lieu of degree. Must have a general technical knowledge of fertilizer storage, handling, product characteristics and production operations.
  • Strong verbal, written, listening communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills are required
  • Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels within the organization and across multiple sites
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
