As a Purchaser, you’ll be responsible for the buying, requisition and distribution of all food and beverage goods, operating supplies and equipment for The Canadian Brewhouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor purchasing process, utilizing P.O. system, arranging transportation and timely reviews of delivery
• Manage all activities that develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, supplies, or materials for the organization
• Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability
• Control purchasing department budgets
• Research and evaluate suppliers; research consumer trends to forecast inventory
• Estimate costs of builds and ensure budgets are met, coordinating with the Sr. VP of Construction
• Maintain current digital records of contracts, documents, etc.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• A passion for people and relationship building
• Minimum of 5 years purchasing experience, experience in sales and negotiation
• Proficiency in MS Office and a deep understanding of supply chain management
• Communication and active listening skills
• Experience applying pricing strategies, preparing bid specifications and utilizing purchasing systems
• Skilled in decision making, problem solving and strategic thinking
