• Description:* Our client is in need of hiring an Intermediate Project Engineer with Mechanical Experience, located full time in Fort McMurray to do brownfield work and small sustaining capital projects with 5-10 years oil & gas experience. (extraction, tailings, operations, upgrading). Mostly dealing with piping equipment for their clients. Would be reporting to the Oil and Gas division director. This candidate will be working with pumps & pressure vessels, expected to have a P.Eng. Essentially if the Client comes with a problem they need this person to work with the clients, identify problem and create scope of work.
  
  

Expected to take on up to 5 projects at one time.

Expect to work with client team for scoping studies and definition of setting up client side projects. Help the team back in the office with site investigations, depending on opportunity with clients it differs. Work with client to develop the scope and could be working with our clients team once its initiated to help the team further develop further scope to detailed design. May include Business Development activity as well. This individuals time will be split between Project Engineer duties (60%) and Mechanical Engineer duties (40%).

• Skills:* Mechanical Engineering, MOC, Oil & Gas experience, Brownfield, Pumps, Pressure Vessels, Extractions, Tailings, Operations,
• Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
• MUST HAVE:
• Needs MOC experience and someone coming from Cosyn is an asset. P.Eng Ability to multi-task and take on multiple projects at once Strong communication skills as this person will be dealing with the client Project Engineer with Mechanical Engineer experience
• NICE TO HAVE:* Tailings project experience
