Gager Electrical Consultants has an exciting opportunity to Join our Team!

We are looking to fill a Full-Time position for the role of an Project Designer

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

· Proficient in AutoCAD

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Previous experience with online project management software is considered an asset

· Skills / experience with Revit or Bluebeam is considered an asset

· Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code

· Good Communication Skills and ability to work with a team or independently

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Self Starter, ability to take initiative

· Eagerness to expand knowledge and grow within the Electrical industry

The Electrical Designer’s responsibilities will include:

· Drafting Plans in AutoCAD

· Working with Architects and other discipline Engineers as part of project coordination

· Attend meetings with clients (both virtual and in person as required)

· Review Shop Drawings and other project construction administration

· Perform Load Calculations

· Perform Lighting Calculations

· Design Building Power, telecommunications systems

· Liaise with Project Managers to mange project deadlines, workloads, etc.

· Coordinate with BC Hydro, Telus and Shaw as part of Utility Coordination

We are a fast-paced, dynamic office located in Langley, BC that provides Electrical Consulting services for New Construction developments throughout British Columbia. We have a strong focus on multi-Family Residential projects, but our portfolio includes Commercial, Institutional and Site Service projects as well. We are looking to expand our team with an additional Project Designer in order to support our rapidly growing company.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
