On behalf of our client here in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resourcesis looking for a Program Manager - Healthcare for a full-time opportunity.
Role: Our client is looking for a Program Manager to lead the portfolio of the PCDE - Health Link BC (HLBC). The Program Manager will lead a high-performing agile team supporting the design and build of the HLBC.

Responsibilities:
  • Organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects
  • Supporting a team of PMs to ensure their project documentation and activities are in good health
  • Coordinating cross-project activities
  • Apply change and risk management
  • Program and project human resource management (SOWs, hiring process, timekeeping)
  • Rolled up program finance management (project initiations, financial workbooks, supporting PMs with project finances, portfolio level financials, coordinating with multiple finances teams across two organizations)
  • First point of escalation for a team of project managers
  • Prepare portfolio status reports
  • Co-managing and leading a portfolio team with a Senior Clinical Leader
  • Perform project management processes as per PMO standards
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in business, administration, or project management including training and/or experience in leading and co-ordinating all aspects of the current projects undertaken by the department:
  • 12-15 years of experience as a Project/Program/Portfolio Manager
  • Lead Project Managers and teams to execute projects to a successful closure
  • Ensure there are no schedule and cost variances for the projects
  • Experience with project financials and project business cases
  • Guide and support PMs with project delivery including forecasting and validation of resource
  • needs and availability based on the requirements of the opportunity/demand
  • Work both independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment based on the project requirements
  • Understanding and coordination of common enablers and interdependencies between multiple project streams
  • Strong problem-solving, communicating and troubleshooting skills
  • A decision maker, a team player and experience working with small and large teams
  • Ability to create strong partnerships and build trust with multiple stakeholders and team members
  • Collaborative leadership style
  • Experience working in healthcare settings, supporting Clinical Service delivery organizations
