Our client who is a global manufacturer of healthcare products is looking to hire a Production Technician, who will aid in the assembly and testing of the products within the production systems

This will be a 6 months contract with a potential extension or hired perm.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assembles and repairs of production systems
  • Troubleshoots hardware issues
  • Performs equipment change-overs
  • Participates in review for quality control. Makes adjustments as necessary to fix product within specifications
  • Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as required
  • Liaises with operators and other departments
  • Cleans and maintains work area

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience acceptable to Epocal. Technical degree or diploma is preferred.
  • Previous work experience with soldering and electronics assembly is preferred
  • Previous work experience producing or repairing electro-mechanical instruments is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge is an asset
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
