Summary of Position

Bus Drivers are an important part of the school team by providing safe and reliable transportation for our students. This particular route requires about 254 km of driving each day picking up and delivering approximately 25 students. Route SP8- East of Spiritwood is a Permanent Full Time Position, commencing August 28, 2023

Qualifications

Valid Class 1-2 Drivers License with a School Bus Endorsement is required;

5 years driving experience;

A clean Driver’s Abstract;

Satisfactory results from a medical examination in accordance with Board policy and The Highway Traffic Act is required;

Related training such as courses in first aid, defensive driving or heavy equipment operation would be considered an asset.

be able to handle various physical tasks involving lifting, bending, twisting, turning and climbing;

have the ability to prioritize multiple demands and effectively manage time;

be willing to work in varied climates and conditions;

have excellent communications skills;

be enthusiastic and thrive in a team environment; and

genuinely appreciate working with children.
