OUR OFFER

• C$ 17/hour
• Overtime is any time over 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week (whichever works in your favour) at C$25.50/hour overtime
• Vacation pay (4%) at the end of the season
• Commission (5% on all your sales) upon completing the season
• Expected hours per day: 9.75 hours
• Expected average wage per day C$180.63 (this is not yet including vacation pay)
• Consistent work with 5-6 expected days per week between June and Mid-September
• Part-time possibilities available too

WHAT WE DO

We offer half-day commercial white water rafting trips on the Kananaskis River (our fun and splashy family trip) and the Horseshoe Canyon (our adventure trip) between Banff and Calgary in Alberta, Canada. Our guests are driven in school buses from our base at Nakoda Lakeside Lodge to the river and back.

Off-River Assistants are the first point of contact for our guests, so your excellent customer service skills will be put to good use. You’ll also be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the smooth running of the trip, and for taking top-notch photos of our guests (photography experience is an asset, but full training is provided).

REQUIREMENTS

• Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent
• Clean driving record with a commercial driver abstract
• Minimum 16-hour first aid with CPR "C"
• Available (full-time or part-time) for the summer season (May 8th or June 8th – September 20th)
• Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or valid Canadian work permit

ASSETS

• Alberta Class 4 driving license
• Wilderness first aid (40hr course)
• The Interpretive Guides Association (IGA) certified
• Interest in photography & tour guiding
• Experience in the tourism industry
