Tundra Site Services is accepting resumes from millwrights for process plant maintenance work in the arctic at a variety of sites.Our client’s permanent camps are well serviced and organized with excellent food, facilities and safety programs. Top performers are often able to secure regular and on-going opportunities. Tundra Site Services calls on a team of regulars to support on-client projects with a variety of schedules, we’re happy to learn more about qualified applicants and how we can help them to further their career goals.SITE A - JM or Red Seal Millwrights, Apprentice Millwrights or other shutdown experienced maintenance workers may be consideredRegular ShutdownsOct 26-Nov 2; Nov 9-16; Nov 23-30; Dec 7-14**Continues with this pattern - roughly 1 week in/1 week out starting October****Charter flights out of Calgary or Yellowknife**SITE B - Red Seal MillwrightsRegular shutdowns approx 5 days/month, looking for those that can commit to at least 4 months of shutdowns at a time, without any missed dates.Next Sets Of DatesNov 11-15; Dec 9-13 ...**Continues with this pattern monthly****First shift up requires a few extra days for training****There may be an opportunity for 2/2’s for those interested, but that is speculative at this time****Charter Flights out of Edmonton and Yellowknife****All dates above are inclusive of travel days from charter pick up points. Commercial flights from longer distances from the charter deployment cities can be discussed**

• Workers from the North (NT, NU) may be offered additional, northern, marshalling points and are encouraged to apply

Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Mechanically oriented JM or apprentice welders may be considered, as well as JM, 3rd or 4th year Millwrights.
• Industrial, mining and process plant shutdown experience an asset.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors and to travel/work in a remote camp environment.
• Ability to meet all prescreening requirements including criminal record check, drug test and medical. Full disclosure is best policy, some items that you think may disqualify you may be tolerated depending on severity and history.
• A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures.
• Strong verifiable references from previous employers.
• Ability to show proof of double vaccination for Covid-19.
