Comtech is currently accepting applications for Metal Fabricators. As a Metal Fabricator, you would be responsible for welding, cutting steel, punching, sheering, general shop work, shipping and receiving and other duties as required.
Requirements:

• Experience in Welding
• Forklift experience (certification considered an asset)
• Blueprint interpretation (considered an asset)
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task
• Ability to work independently
• Dependable and reliable
• Safety conscious
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance through a work shift
• Able to safely push or pull up to 100lbs without assistance, using proper equipment
• Ability to safely and properly operate motor vehicles up to ¾ ton pickup
• Able to work regular shifts of up to 8 hours (or more in special circumstances)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
