Overview Of The Opportunity

The Marketing Specialist is a collaborative professional who will work closely with a dynamic team to drive growth opportunities for KPMG. They will communicate with key stakeholders to support the overall strategy in the areas of content marketing, internal and external communications, digital marketing (web and social media), webcasting, market research, email marketing coordination, CRM management, program administration, and other market-positioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, tactical, self-starter who is interested in further developing their strategic marketing skillset and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
  • Be a key player in the execution of the National marketing plan
  • Coordinate the rollout of high-profile campaigns and programs, as well as manage ad-hoc internal and external marketing requests
  • Maintain a focus on marketing projects, identify and provide recommendations for improved efficiency
  • Assist in the production of collateral, thought leadership, PowerPoint presentations, fact sheets, emails, web content and social media campaigns with internal and external agencies
  • Create, develop and manage content for KPMG.ca as well as our internal portals
  • Collaborate with in-house digital marketing team to maintain website and drive social media content to launch marketing campaigns on time and on budget
  • Collaborate with functions, industries, geographies and global counterparts in the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications programs
  • Support specific events, including event management logistics - critical path development, invitation development and distribution, registration management, list management/creation, distribution of follow-up reports and other related support as needed
  • Liaise with external vendors with respect to our national strategic partnership commitments and sponsorships
  • Research, coordinate and gather information necessary to develop presentations, fact sheets and other marketing collateral, as required
  • Actively advance collaboration across service lines, industries and regions to share and leverage best practices and enhance overall marketing efficiencies
  • Maintain client lists in KPMG’s CRM database and execute external communications through lead generation tools, such as ExactTarget and Cvent
  • Measure the success marketing campaigns and related activities against pre-determined ROI objectives
What You Bring To The Role
  • 2-3 years experience in marketing or communications, preferably in a national or global organization
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing/communications
  • Highly efficient, detail-oriented, quick learner and self-starter who is eager to develop professionally
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Self-confident to provide support and provide recommendations to senior leadership
  • Superior project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven
  • Strong digital marketing and social media expertise demonstrated in a professional environment
  • Excellent desktop publishing and PowerPoint skills
  • A positive, solution-oriented approach with an ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience coordinating in-person and virtual events
  • Confidence to provide information, support, and recommendations to senior management
  • Energy and natural resources or program administration experience preferred
This is a remote/hybrid position.
