We are seeking a professional, motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This instrumental role will report to the Marketing Manager and will focus on the FWM and Speck Bros. brands.

FWM Wine, Beer & Spirits is an Ontario-based agency operated by Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery. Established in 2008, FWM represents iconic, world-renowned, family-owned or independent producers from the top 10 wine regions in the world, premium craft spirits and specialty beers. Henry of Pelham is a family estate winery in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula that hand-crafts premium VQA wines under the Henry of Pelham and Speck Bros. brands.

Successful applicants will have strong social media knowledge, an enthusiastic and energetic attitude, understanding of basic marketing practices and a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives. Wine knowledge is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorm initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand
  • Grow @FWMCan and @SpeckBrosWines social media presence through content planning, creation and community management
  • Plan, design, and deploy eBlasts using Constant Contact
  • Maintain the FWM and Speck Bros. websites using Wordpress and Shopify
  • Coordinate samples and materials for offsite events
  • Source branded items and oversee production
  • Design and update sales and marketing materials including the FWM deck, price lists, and SBW wine bios
  • Send out media samples, track reviews and coverage, identify new opportunities
  • Support retail managers in FWM bookings
  • Printing (business cards, tent cards, etc.)
  • Coordinate staff tastings
  • Ongoing daily support for the marketing team

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Related mix of education and experience with 2-5 years’ in a similar marketing role.
  • Experience using social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn in a professional environment
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Superior communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Hard working and self-motivated
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Previous experience with Sprout Social, Shopify, WordPress, Canva, and Constant Contact considered an asset
  • WSET 1 or 2 certification is a plus, we also offer education opportunities
  • Must be willing to work out of the office in St. Catharines 5 days a week
