Long considered to be one of the most venerable sites in Toronto, and one of the most iconic addresses, Park Hyatt Toronto is rooted in creating a true sense of place by connecting the iconic experience with Canada’s undeniable beauty. The essence of Canada’s landscapes and diverse seasons are modernized throughout every area of the hotel and enhance the guest’s journey as they move from public spaces to intimate guestrooms and residences. Bespoke details such as carpet designs informed by autumn leaves, and Canadian-stone performing as expressive accents.

As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of marketing and communications across the hotel. The role drives the implementation of the overall marketing strategy, especially social and digital, that will positively impact our business and clearly define our Park Hyatt brand in Toronto. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will ensure that communication throughout the organization is both consistent, in standard and of exceptional quality.


We are looking for a marketing professional who is a social guru and curious minded, connected to the latest and newest offerings and trends in Toronto, and you will support the Director of Sales & Marketing in the day to day operations of the business as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.

Some of the responsibilities include:


  • Implement a creative and innovative social and digital campaign
  • Manage Park Hyatt Toronto social media platforms; Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
  • Manage Park Hyatt Toronto’s PR and global brand image in the market place
  • Work effectively with bloggers and influencers
  • Seek creative sponsorship and partnership opportunities reflective of the Park Hyatt brand
  • Manage all internal and external graphics related to the hotel
  • Manage all promotional and sponsorship requests
  • Ensure press activities are collected and reviewed monthly,
  • Coordinate the writing, editing and proofreading of all Sales & Marketing collateral in print and digital form
  • Ensure all websites are on brand with ever changing exciting content

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A social media guru! You’ll know how to influence, engage and attract
  • University qualifications in Business, Hospitality or Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 4-5-star hotel or, in a similar fast-paced industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into profitable action
  • An engaged and results driven achiever with strong influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, solutions-orientated self-starter with adaptable teamwork styles
  • Strong background in public relations and online marketing management
  • Strategic orientation with the know how to problem solve under pressure
