What You’ll Do:

• Develop strategies independently and with other members of the Body + Soul Fitness team to accomplish recruitment objectives. Ensures accurate and timely execution of corporate and location strategies to achieve goals.
• Partners with hiring managers and other team members to understand, forecast, and satisfy the talent acquisition needs of their clubs
• Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications; interviews applicants on consistent set of qualifications and fit within the organization
• Identify, host, and ensure company presence at networking activities/opportunities such as career fairs, community networking, and collaborating with local Universities and Colleges
• Manage third-party relationships, including recruitment agencies, recruitment sites, job boards etc.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with all current applicants, and maintains contact with past applicants to Body + Soul Fitness, as appropriate.
• Provides general HR support for the organization. Ensures that Body + Soul Fitness is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Stays up to date on the latest industry information, leadership, management, talent acquisition trends and best practices, and general business skills by attending industry conferences and shows (with approval from the president), reading printed media such as books and industry trade publications, networking with other professionals, or any other resource that can make the Talent Acquisition Manager and Body + Soul Fitness more successful.

What You Bring:

• At least 3 years of talent acquisition experience
• At least 3 years of people management experience
• Background in fitness or hospitality is considered an asset.
• University Degree or Post-Secondary Education in HR, Business or relevant equivalent experience
• Certificate or Degree in Human Resources Management is an asset

Compensation: Base compensation of $20,500 + bonuses based on performance

Part-time hours: 15 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20,500.00-$45,000.00 per year
