Job Description
  • The Liaison agent acts as a bridge between the airline operations and Transat’s commercial sectors.
  • Represents Transat’s business areas (Senior Management, Transat Directors, Media Relations, Social Media, Marketing and International Markets, Call Center and Customer Relations, E-Commerce / CRM, Destination Services) within the IOC
  • Acts as the link between the IOC (Integrated Operations Centre) and the Operational Support (reprotection team)
  • Ensures the accuracy of information prior to its dissemination during flight delays and irregular operations.
  • Keeps Transat’s commercial sectors informed and provides the necessary information to the teams so that they can respond appropriately to passengers’ questions.
  • Writes the communications given to passengers during irregular operations.
  • Performs certain key tasks related to the Operational Support department

Qualifications
  • Minimum experience of two (2) years in an operational position with an airline, or tour operator
  • Excellent communication skills, and fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent ability to handle pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt.
  • Good organizational skills, autonomy, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Available to work on rotation including weekends (day, evening, night).
