Data Integrations Developer (Jr/Int Level)
KORE is seeking a Data Integrations Developer to join our rapidly growing Ticketing Integration team that feeds data into KORE’s platform and data warehouses. You will develop and maintain data integrations using the AWS platform and explore technologies such as Spark, Kinesis, Airflow; leveraging Scala and Python to pull and process data into KORE’s data ecosystem from external vendor platforms such as Ticketmaster, AXS, and SeatGeek.
KORE’s products provide our customers fan segmentation and insights to enable them to market and engage their fan base – understanding their customers and building deeper relationships to drive a cohesive fan experience. Our master data management (MDM) platform provides golden record stewardship and allows our customer to build a consolidated view of a customer.
We are looking for someone who brings experience and passion working with the flow of data and infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional product team to deliver a high-quality SaaS based data integrations product
• Design, build and implement data extraction, integration, modeling, transformation, business intelligence systems, and web applications
• Provide suggestions for improving the overall data architecture
• Work with the Product Management team to help deliver our vision and roadmap
• Interface with application and warehousing teams to design both business and technical requirements
• Create data models, data/system flow documentation, design documents, and test documents
• Design, code and test complex routines and programs – with a focus on our integration platform and MDM engine but also contributing to our end-user application experiences
• Support the maintenance and operations of the data integrations product
• Provide data support for escalations from our support team and customers

Qualifications:

• Development experience with C#, Scala, and Python.
• Experience with one or more of SQL (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server), Amazon Redshift, and Spark.
• Working AWS knowledge (working with S3, ECS, EMR, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience developing against APIs and building robust solutions to pull data on a schedule
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery systems and Lean-Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal English skills and the ability to document SDKs and libraries and articulate technical information efficiently

Preferred:

• Experience with SaaS multi-tenant architecture
• Working in a container-based environment
• Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with streaming APIs and streaming data solutions (AWS Kinesis)
• AWS Certified (Cloud Practitioner, or Associate Level – Specialties such as Database, or Data Analytics a plus)

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and related technologies such as Data Modeling, Data Analysis, ETL, Data Warehousing and other big data concepts

• Development experience ASP.NET, .NET Core, Airflow, and Tableau a plus.
