Job Description & Summary

A career within Deals Capital Projects and Infrastructure, will provide you the opportunity to deliver innovative deal solutions to our clients, providing advice and support, from initiation through to completion. The Infrastructure and Project Finance team helps public and private sector clients finance, deliver and operate projects in a cost effective and efficient fashion. As part of our team, you’ll help our client with procurement strategies, project structuring, financing and negotiations

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participate in developing, reviewing and revising financial models
• Carry out studies of infrastructure markets and related financial markets and infrastructure sub-industries
• Perform industry research on, in particular, sustainable infrastructure and clean technologies
• Participate in writing reports and information memorandums
• Assist in developing business opportunities for the Capital Projects & Infrastructure practice
• Assists in the preparation of proposals for certain projects
• Assists in the preparation of pitch decks and market coverage materials
• Assists on global cross line of service initiatives including on global energy transition and sustainable infrastructure initiatives as well as on mandates with the United Nations and/or the World Bank
  
  

What you’ll bring to this role:

• Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
• Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
• Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
• Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

• You’ll be comfortable travelling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe to do so by applicable public health or regulatory authorities and PwC)
• This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract.
