This position will report to the Mine Maintenance Engineering Manager. It is located in Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

This is a 16-month internship that begins in May 2022 (with potential for earlier start date). This employment opportunity is part of Nutrien’s Indigenous Internship Program and is intended to introduce a voluntary self-identified Indigenous student or recent graduate to a professional work experience at Nutrien.

What you will do:

• Assist the Department with various duties, including:
• Support various engineering projects in the fields of power, automation/controls, and telecommunications.
• Perform maintenance support, including creating/modifying electrical prints, programming ladder logic or function block, and in-field troubleshooting of electrical/control equipment.
• Conduct research to assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives.

What you will bring:

• Must be currently enrolled in, or recently graduating from an Electrical Engineering program at an accredited post-secondary institution
• Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
