Job Description The talented Presales / Field Sales Engineer will provide customers, partners and sales reps with technical and financial product advice online and in-person product presentation support during pre-sale and sometimes post-sales discussions... You will partner with Strategic Account Managers to develop proposals and recommend additional sales opportunities. Conduct online or on-site product presentations with client decision makers and educates prospects and customers on Sage products. Answer client questions on product function and usage and solve sales support problems. Independent product support and expertise is focused typically on a module of a complex solution. May partner with other sales engineers to develop more comprehensive solutionsKey Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities
- Share in-depth knowledge and experience to provide innovative solutions to complex business issues
- Compose and deliver superior product presentations covering SAGE INTAACT and partner software solutions
- Conduct discovery sessions with clients to uncover key value drivers and solution enablers
- Complete sections of SAGE INTAACT responses to RFIs and RFPs
- Collaborate with sales teams on opportunity qualification and strategies
- Participate in new product release input, testing and training of peers
- Support marketing activities, including presenting at events and online demonstrations for the solution
- Personal development to improve on all areas of responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pre-Sales and Technical Product Demo; ERP, Cloud-based and/or SaaS in mid-market highly preferred
- Relevant computer Enterprise Resource Planning applications or database/tools
- Thorough knowledge of system and application design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, needs-analysis, positioning, business justification, closing
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with accounts in complex technical environments
