Citadel Fence is a fast-moving, growing fence contractor focused on becoming the premier fence installation company in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our team for the summer months.
Citadel Fence provides their clients with privacy and protection through the installation of chain-link, ornamental, wood, and vinyl fences. Understanding that clients may have unique needs, Citadel collaborates with customers, industry partners and experienced professionals to provide the right product in every situation. Citadel has a culture that challenges its employees to improve, learn new skills and solve issues.
The successful candidate will be customer focused, highly organized, professional and take great pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in lead generation and follow-up activities, including researching potential customers and maintaining a customer database.
- Support sales managers by following up with customers via phone or email to secure the project.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve individual and team targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers through excellent communication and customer service.
- Perform door-to-door sales visits to residential areas and engage with homeowners to generate interest in our fencing products.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, leads, and customer feedback to management.
- Ensure job management system is up to date and accurate.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education (in progress, preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a door-to-door or field sales environment.
- Familiarity with fencing products and construction terminology is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit customer locations.
- Flexibility to work two days in the office and three days door-to-door.

- 8am-5pm
- Monday-Friday
