As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and a technician responsible for all activities related to human resources, particularly and mainly at the Montreal airport. You will be responsible for coordinating, coaching, and supervising the application of human resources management policies, programs, and practices to support the day-to-day operations of STAS. In addition, you will actively participate in the managing of labour relations to ensure a respectful work environment in compliance with labour laws and the applicable collective agreement. You will also represent your department within the organization, notably by being involved in various interdepartmental strategic files.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations/Human Resources or equivalent
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in a unionized work environment in a high-volume context
  • CHRP designation, an asset
  • Bilingual, both oral and written (French and English)

REQUIRED ABILITIES & QUALITIES:

  • Competence with regards to labour relations, absenteeism management (whether at fault or not) and accommodation management in the context of a federally regulated company
  • Interpersonal and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure on several files simultaneously, to maintain harmonious relations with the various stakeholders (union, client, partners) and to work with stakeholders of different hierarchical levels
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to synthesize, analytical skills, dynamism, and professionalism

  • Be willing to undergo extensive security & reference checks
  • Be 18 years of age
  • Be legally entitled to work within Canada
