Who are We?


Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We have done many premier maintenance and design-build projects in NS like Argyle Street and Spring Garden Road Queen’s Marque and the Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck.


Citadel Fence is a fence contractor focused on the installation of chain link, ornamental, wood, and vinyl fence solutions for the residential and commercial customers.


Trim Landscaping and Citadel Fence are continually growing and are looking to add an HR Generalist that will work for both companies out of our office in Bedford. This position will be a maternity leave contract for approximately 12 months.

You are knowledgeable in provincial and federal legislation and have an exceptional attention to detail.


Must have completed post-secondary education with an emphasis on Human Resource Management and have a minimum 2 years’ experience working as an HR professional with demonstrated experience in a broad range of HR functions. Experience with BambooHR or in hiring foreign workers would be considered an asset.


What will you do?


The Human Resource Generalist will support both companies with their HR requirements including:

  • Recruitment and retention of top talent
  • Assist in on-boarding of new staff
  • Employee relations
  • Development and implementation of policies and best practices
  • Management of overall company compensation and group benefit plans
  • Coach management on best human resources practices
  • Manage performance management
  • Oversee and develop training program
