Job Summary

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator, Employee Servicesfor ourhuman resources department located in Sherbrooke, Canada.

The following are responsibilities related to Human Resources Coordinator - Employee Services position:
  • Offer HR support and advice to employees on various HR topics: HR policies and programs such as benefits, pension plan, etc.
  • Understand and apply internal HR policies and procedures.
  • Respond to queries and provide guidance in line with internal processes and policies.
  • Provide professional and positive employee experience in a timely manner (in person, on the phone and via email).
  • Administrative onboarding tasks and delivery of new hire presentation for benefits.
  • Complete administrative tasks for HR processes including but not limited to, benefits, pension plan, wellness initiatives, recognition program, training, confirmation of employment letters etc.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee data in collaboration with HR system team.
  • Participate to ad-hoc projects.
Job Qualifications

The following are the minimum qualifications related to the Human Resources Coordinator - Employee Services position:
  • 1 to 3 years of HR or relevant experience in HR.
  • Solid customer service experience is an asset.
  • HR Degree/Diploma or other relevant degree.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using an HRIS (Success Factors) and ServiceNow (an asset).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, following processes and actioning requests in an accurate, timely and customer-centric manner.
  • Ability to show insight and good judgement and provide sound solutions and decisions.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required.

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
