Housekeeper (Casual)

CareCorp Senior Services are a trusted agency company who provide superior healthcare, food services, housekeeping and laundry service to long-term care facilities across BC.
We are looking for a housekeeper to join our amazing team in one of our beautiful long-term care facilities.

Previous experience in a long term care facility or with the senior community ispreferredbut not required!

Position details:Casual
Compensation:20.97 per hour

General Duties:

• Cleans areas such as floors, stairways, walls, windows and walkways, carpets and rugs.
• Cleans items such as furniture, woodwork, ledges, fixtures and blinds/ curtains.
• Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and replenishes items such as soap and towels.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and washrooms.
• Prepares cleaning solutions and utilizes cleaning supplies in accordance with established procedures.
• Empties and cleans waste containers and removes garbage from building.
• Helps remove furniture from rooms and puts in storage area.
• Preforms other related duties as assigned.

• Grade 1- or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• WHMIS Certificate.
