Summary:

This is an in office, graphic design independent contract position offering 30-40 hours per week with a possibility of extension/full time after a considerable review at the Employers discretion. The essential areas of the role are to coordinate and manage the Company’s marketing, social media and website in keeping with the creative, professional and entrepreneurial culture of the Company. Innovative thinking and excellent attention to detail are key qualities to this role in order to create a stronger brand awareness. The ability to self-manage, receive direction and constructive criticism, work efficiently, diligently and cooperatively with colleagues are the main keys to success.

We are a newer, boutique Real Estate Team located in Burlington, servicing the Halton & Hamilton areas and we are looking for someone who will take us to the next level to gain brand awareness while keeping on trend, and relevant in the industry. Someone who will bring vibrancy, creativity, and outside the box ideas to our marketing, social media and website.

*Qualified candidates will be asked to submit a design/video assignment prior to an in-person interview. Assets will be provided*

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and designing all print marketing materials including but not limited to; brochures, presentations, postcards, flyers, mailers, business cards etc.
  • Designing marketing assets for websites, digital creative, email, SMS, social media and ensuring that they are in line with existing brand guidelines.
  • Maintain, engage in and create all posts for scheduling in Later for all our social media platforms during work hours, and occasional evening/weekends (3 Instagram accounts, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube)
  • Assist with monthly video setup, filming background, and editing pre-recorded monthly statistic video and reels for all social media platforms.
  • Assisting with new creative ideas and maintaining team website.
  • Assisting with and maintaining our Real Estate app.
  • Maintaining established branding and design standards throughout all media platforms.
  • Participate and provide ongoing feedback relating to current market trends and overall branding.
  • Preparation of analytics utilizing MS excel.
  • Requirement to meet tight deadlines and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while taking specific direction and constructive criticism.
  • Co-ordinating & participating in team events on the occasional evening and/or weekends to capture content for socials
  • Managing & maintaining Google My Business accounts
  • Liaison for HQ Marketing staff
  • Liaison between 3rd party companies when required
  • Continued initiative in connecting and engaging with clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Graphic Design or other applicable field; or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including incl. Adobe Photoshop & InDesign.
  • MUST be able to edit videos/reels in Adobe Premier Pro. Cap Cut and/or E-Camm is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of managing business social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads and Boosted posts is considered beneficial.
  • Knowledge on how to create, maintain and update website (Web4Realty).
  • Thorough knowledge/experience on social media platforms, their participants and how it can be used to generate brand awareness and create leads.
  • Working knowledge of MS excel including creation of charts
  • Working knowledge of Canva
  • An outstanding eye for visual composition, cropping, colour and photography selection.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to both accuracy and quality.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, organizational skills and ability to adapt.
  • Able to work independently, virtually and in as a Team.
  • Excellent time management.

  • Burlington, ON L7L 0G7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
