Volunteer Position Summary: The Carewest Gift Shop is an exciting hub of activity, offering a variety of unique gift items. It is the local convenience shop for the site, serving everyone’s everyday shopping needs with books & magazines, greeting cards, food & drink, and personal care items. Gift Shop volunteers help the site because proceeds of the Shop are donated back to the site to support equipment and programs.
Qualifications: As a Gift Shop volunteer, you will gain valuable experience and training in customer service, creating retail displays, keeping the shop and displays clean and tidy at all times, cash operations including operating the till and accurately handling cash, cheques and credit/debit cards and stock taking in addition to ensuring the smooth running of the shop and maintaining the shop standards.
There are a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts currently available to suit your needs. Join our Gift Shop team today!
Requirements:
Volunteers must be registered prior to starting; Police Clearance is required for this activity.
