MOSANDER INC. is a private Canadian company offering investment grade rare earth bullions. Our mission is to provide investors the opportunity to take physical ownership and have direct price exposure to these strategic and critical geopolitical assets. We aspire to become the most dependable global manufacturer in this new investment market category.

PURPOSE

• The Financial Analyst is a research and analysis role requiring a very resourceful and entrepreneurial attitude, with the main focus of developing a Body of Knowledge and leading the Center of Excellence;
• The position reports directly to the Managing Director but requires you to work independently and yield insightful results under minimal supervision;
• This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious self-starter looking for a genuine opportunity to contribute, shape and participate in the growth of a unique business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Researching and analyzing market trends, as well as building a strong working knowledge of the rare earth metals landscape with the aspiration to become a recognized industry expert;
• Communicating your industry and market findings in clear, concise and cohesive investment stories to support the business development efforts;
• Developing meaningful relationships with industry leaders, research institutes, and government agencies;
• Aggregating unstructured data from multiple sources, converting them to meaningful articulable market insights;
• Assisting in building external client-facing materials and acting as a Subject Matter Expert.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Science or Engineering, with minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience;
• Strong knowledge of finance, investment and accounting;
• Intermediate knowledge of precious metals, commodities trading, science, and geopolitics;
• Experience in financial services, international trade or freight forwarding, is an asset;
• Willingness to specialize in a very narrow and abstruse segment of the investment industry;
• Eagerness to tackle impossible industry challenges in a lean start-up environment;
• Relevant alphabet soup designations, or working towards, is an asset (eg. CAIA, CFA, CIM, MBA, etc.).

SKILLS

• Excellent work ethic, integrity, curiosity, reliability, professionalism, accountability;
• Strong detail orientation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Good proficiency of the MS Office suite;
• Fluency in Mandarin is a strong asset.

COMPENSATION

• Part-time supplier contract, fully remote;
• Base compensation - fixed CAD $500 / month;
• Sales commission and referral opportunities;
• Founders Stock Options Plan.
