We are looking for a Financial Accounting Analyst to oversee, track and evaluate day-to-day financial activities. Responsibilities include monitoring the company’s financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our financial managementteam.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily financial activities of the accounting department including:

Accounts payable

General ledger postings

Work with the controller to supervise the treasury and the budgeting process.

Reconciliation of general ledger accounts

Cash forecasting

Transfer pricing adjustment

Revenue and expenditure variance analysis

Capital assets reconciliations.

Fixed asset activity

Debt activity

Monthly tax provisions

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Cost centers monthly reporting.

Perform costing and pricing analyses and provide recommendations.

Analyze systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

Supervise projects and direct staffto ensure compliance and accuracy.

Work with the team to achieve financial accounting objectives.

Requirements and skills

Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisoror Finance Manager.

Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.

Experience with SAP is required. Experience with Cognos is a plus.

Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.

Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to direct and supervise.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance and CPA designation or in process of obtaining it.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,579.88-$75,626.27 per year
